Most common bugs of Bluetooth Headsets

  1. Connection drops – Bluetooth connects, disconnects, reconnects, disconnects again every few minutes. Nothing can be more frustrating than BT connection drops
  2. Poor audio quality – especially with these mono headsets, you don’t expect audiophile grade sound quality, however there has to be a good balance of the lows, mids and the highs
  3. High background noise – the windy noise from the other side means that the mic is directly exposed to the outside. On better models, the mic is shielded to prevent this
  4. Short battery life – the battery life can be as short as 3-4 hours to as long as 16 hours of talk time. 3-4 hour battery life means that you have to charge them multiple times/day. Avoid them like the plague
  5. Poor fit – the other thing that can be as annoying as poor BT connections is poor fit. You want to ‘wear’ it once and you want it to stay there until YOU decide it’s time for it to come off. Unfortunately some models are not customizable and therefore constantly fall off the ear annoying the cr** out of you!
